Nissaga
/ niˈsɑːɡə /
The invisible chain that passes land, knowledge and name from parents to children, from one generation to the next.
The name says it all: nissaga means lineage in Catalan. It is not a name chosen at random, but a statement of intentions. We want to be the link in a chain that stretches far back and, if we do it right, will reach far into the future. The wines we make are not products of a moment, but the continuation of a conversation between the land, the family, and time.

The ca l'Artigues farmhouse-winery has stood for more than two hundred and fifty years at the heart of the Alt Penedès. Long before appellations, cadastral maps or the modern wine trade existed, this land was already producing grapes. The mas, with its stone walls and centuries-old vines, is a living document of Catalan history.
Minimal intervention does not mean abandoning the vineyard — it means listening to it. We make natural wine (vi natural): we work under organic farming certification, harvest by hand, ferment with native yeasts and do not control temperature. Each year is different and each wine is unrepeatable. We do not seek uniformity — we seek truth.
